Actually, this can work in any arena.

First off, the bull is not killed or hurt in any way. But the participants may be. Here’s how it’s played: Colored ribbons are tied to the bull’s horns. The players try to remove the ribbons from the horns to score points. Different colored ribbons give different points. There is a set time period for each player to get his ribbons. The winner is the player with the most points. You can let all players in at the same time or one at a time. Maybe the players can wear some kind of protection, I don’t know. Or you can use professional matadors too.

Personally, I think this would make for a great date in NYC. It would also appeal to tourists. The stands would be packed on Friday & Saturday nights. A lot of action and someone may get hurt, but not the bull.
