Just lower your home into Mother Earth
The wild fires in California are a fact of nature. How about a fire proof envelope you could drape over your home? You have it installed on the roof and at the push of button it covers your house.
Or maybe an elevator that lowers your house into the ground until the fire passes. Sorta like going into a missile silo. Or can you just build a concrete home.

I guess if your house does not burn down in a fire it could be called a safety feature

Though you could still die from the smoke if you stayed in it
Thanks for stopping by.
